THE LIAR'S DIVIDEND

The liar's dividend refers to the benefit liars gain when the public becomes uncertain about the veracity of all information, often exacerbated by the spread of deepfakes or misinformation. It erodes trust, allowing falsehoods to hide amidst doubts about truth. This work is a double deepfake of two right wing french extremists.

Gerald Darmanin is the current Interior Minister and head of police in France.

Eric Zemmour is a fascist polemist and previous candidate of the presidential election.

Two actors play the part of punk dancers pogoing wildly, in a scene as reminiscent of 80s anarchist concerts as it is of highly polished contemporary Calvin Klein ads.
We have no control and nuance died in 2016.
