Mark O’Knee will re-stage a famous journey between Bath and Folkestone ‘U’K over one hundred days, beginning 25 November 2025. Daily diary entries will appear along the route. Unorthodox techniques may be employed. There are many forms of transport, and different ways to travel.
As well as being credited as the inventor of photography, Nicéphore Niépce also built the first internal-combustion engine. The tool that would allow distant scenes to be seen without moving came from the same brain as the machine that made movement (almost) effortless. A similar contradiction marked the late twentieth century: the rise of the internet and the age of the budget airline. Just as travel became unnecessary, the price of it plummeted.
Let us not digress further. We will not mention the Titanic.
A Bath→Folkestone vector rendered as real travel path. Each node resolves once its day unlocks. Spot the very occasional 'ghost node' and try to work out what place O'Knee did really visit.
